Great experience team!
Being not very fond of heights, but doing the touristy thing in North Queensland, I took the plunge and booked a HotAir Balloon ride for me and my wife. Once the balloon lifted off the ground, the smooth assent into the crisp morning air, made my fears disappear. The gentle movement of the balloon in the air currents gave us plenty of time to see the sunrise over the distant mountains and take in the morning views of Mareeba and district, without any sudden movements to reignite my fears. The pilot was very professional and support team great. Even a slightly rough landing with the basket stopping on its side, was pre-warned and well controlled, so as to feel as though it was meant to be part of the experience.
